Using non surgical methods and safe injection I can remove those wrinkles from around your eyes and other places on your face. Many people have their "smile" wrinkles removed from around their mouth to give a younger smoother appearance.

Are these toxins safe and just how does it work?

Yes they are safe, they work by relaxing the muscles so that they cannot come together and cause a "furrow" (also known as a frown line) by blocking the nerve messages received by the brain when laughing or frowning.

How long do the results of Botox injections last?

After the injections have taken place the results will begin to show after just a few days and will then continue to improve over a couple of week (perhaps 1 to 3). Typically the effects of treatment will take somewhere between 2 and 6 months before starting to wear off but it varies from patient to patient.

Is Botox painful?

Most people who have botox do not report any pain, perhaps just a mild stinging sensation but if you are concerned a local anaesthetic cream can be applied prior to treatment to numb the area to be injected.

Are there any risks to having my face injected with a toxin?

When used correctly by practitioners with correct training and experience problems are very rare indeed.

If you ever hear about negative results this is usually the results of people carrying out the process with little or no experience. The toxins themselves are very safe as data over millions of injections has proven, you may experience some minor bruising and/or swelling but overall most people do not experience any side effects at which compared to other medications make this a very low risk treatment.
